More from my New Year’s Eve (2017) off-road trip.
San Bernardino Mountains.
The rock formation shown in this video is known as “Hannah Rocks.” I came upon this formation during on one of the four-wheel drive trails in the San Bernardino Mountains.
I took this image while visiting the ruins of the old Alvord Mine. I find that I shoot at least as many stills as I do video footage with my Phantom drone.
See my multi-part article on the Alvord Mine at: https://elpasomountains.blogspot.com/2017/11/a-visit-to-alvord-mine-ruins.html
This is a power line road that runs through the Cleghorn Range, in California’s Cajon Pass.
I’ve shot many images and a lot of video footage of the Cajon Pass in conjunction with a my blog article about this historic passage. See https://elpasomountains.blogspot.com/
Can anyone tell me what these concrete slabs were used for? They appear to be old foundations, and they are located right near Highway 138, in California’s Cajon Pass.
I used my DJI Phantom 4 to film this footage, during a recent trip to the Calico Mountains.
This area is frequented by off-road enthusiasts, as wells as by recreational shooters.
I was very careful not to fly near the shooters!
